GEA Refrigeration Italy S.p.A ’s field of activity is the engineering, production and trading of industrial refrigeration plants, agro-industrial cold stores, process plants for petrochemical and pharmaceutical fields, gas compression plants for recovery and purification; gas production plants for energy cogeneration and alternative fuels. Furthermore, the company manages multi-year service contracts.

To adopt and, more important, to develop a management system Quality-and- Environment-oriented means to pursue continuous improvement objectives, as regards activities both outside and inside the company, in full respect of Environment and Work Safety as well as applicable standards, laws and regulations governing Production and Environmental Legislation. |

This purpose is achievable only placing our Customer, which is our most important resource and essential for our own existence, at the center of all our planned and taken actions. The environment protection and safeguard for pollution prevention, the utmost attention to human resources and material forming our structure, a strong team-work and staff-involving policies, all these elements guarantee customer’s satisfaction which permits us to exist and to grow. |

The above concepts are meaningful keeping in mind that in a process-structured Company, everybody is at the same time customer and supplier of the other company’s actors who carry out activities upstream and downstream the stages he has developed. In this sense, responsibility, involvement, wish to constantly improve personal efficiency, membership feeling and emotional elements become very important concepts which the Company undertakes to promote by developing vocational training and offering / requiring the maximum transparency and the widest co-operation. |

However, improvement is only possible if based on real and concrete elements and with the full awareness of the starting point and the fixing of ambitious but achievable and measurable objectives.
In this connection, the Company defines, but not as a limitation during direction re-examination, its own efficiency objectives consistent with present Quality and Environment Policy, and invites everybody to give suggestions thereof.
The principles mentioned in the present document are supported by a real determination to constantly improve efficiency, both from qualitative and environmental point of view, and, as a consequence, profitability so that to increase both social and present and future collaborators welfare. The document of Quality and Environment Policy is available to all people who work in the Company or on behalf of it and to anybody who requires it.
The obtaining of fixed targets must be an incentive to go on working to satisfy the requirements of customers who trust our reliability and permit us to exist and towards whom we must concentrate our efforts. |
